Yes, there are differences between webbins.
In fact, these lines have different features for different users and needs. For example, the Spider Pro 20 and Trick 25 have a greater elasticity and therefore require a greater body control. In other words, this kind of line is more suitable for those who have a bit of experience. On the contrary, the White 15 and Training 18 give more confidence and have a lower difficulty: that’s why they are ideal especially for beginners.
Expert tip
When you choose your Slackline, consider the main use you will do.
Sure: Slackline is made of high tenacity polyester and provides excellent resistance: up to 1,500 kg of working load! It doesn’t mean that your Slackline is broken or defective. When you get more familiar with the Slackline’s ratchet, you won’t have to think about the wrong wrapping anymore.
Expert tip
Check the 50-mm wide webbing, sewn on the ratchet bolt: it must be in the center position when tensioned. Make sure that the webbing is not displaced on one of the two sides, because it will tend to twist. Then check the long webbing, which is inserted into the ratchet roller slot: it must be absolutely cantered as well. After the first ratchet pulling, check again the alignment of both webbing on the ratchet. Make manually adjustments, moving the webbing right or left. If even after the re-alignment the webbing position is wrong, open the Slackline’s ratchet and start from beginning. You will soon get confident with this and won’t think about that anymore!
The ratchet can’t be broken just by hand: Spider Slacklines guarantees, in fact, a working load of 1,500 kg! In any case, there isn’t a right or wrong tension, but only the one that each slackliner prefers. Slackline’s world is full of exercises: this means that it requires commitment, effort and many attempts: different tensions will help you to find the best match for your workout.
Expert tip
If you are interested in a line without tension, the Rodeo Line is the answer! Set the Slackline’s ends at a height of two meters, at least (depending on to the length of the line), without tension: it will be very slack and will form a U shape. Try the balance exercises on it! The webbing is completely slack, free from any tension, like a hammock. Discover the thrill of walking a Rodeo!
Before you set up your Slackline, it is good to check if you must replace your webbing: you should consider the frequency of use. With regular use (once a week), the Slackline should be replaced after 1 year. The life of the webbing depends on several factors: the use (or misuse), the contact with water (especially if salted water), the exposure to the sun, the atmospheric agents, the temperature, the dust and the dirt. If your webbing has abrasions greater than 2 mm, you must replace it immediately. When you don’t use your Slackline, keep it clean, in a dark and dry place.
Expert tip
It’s fundamental, when you learn how to mount a slackline, to check the correct wrapping of the webbing into the ratchet roll. It is equally important that the line does not rub against trees, rocks, etc. Therefore, we recommend you to use always the tree protections.
Our Slacklines webbing are all washable. To clean your Slackline just soak in warm water with a bit of soap (a not aggressive one), leaving aside for about one hour; after that, you will need to rinse it well under running water. Expert tip Do not put it in the washing machine with the spinning: there’s the risk to ruin the rubber printed on the surface. Do not dry your Slackline in the sun.

Yes, you can fix the rope between two trees without affecting the anchor. The Slackline always applies a high pressure on the anchor point (trees or other fixed points used); we recommend, therefore, to always check on them before using the Slackline. If you have doubts about their strength, it is always better to fix the Slackline at their base (of a tree or pole) and lift the line with one of our frame stands: in this way, with a simple lever, you will reduce much of the force of the Slackline. Expert tip If you see a minimum risk in installing a webbing between two trees (or other support), it is always better to avoid that set up. In that case, you can anchor to the ground through our OUTDOOR KIT No-Trees, rather than risk incurring in damages or injuries.

First consider the use you intend to make. HUMMER is a compact and powerful ratchet: ideal for your jumps and in case you're just entering the Trickline’s world. Otherwise, if you already have experience and want to improve the evolutions’ level, we recommend the Super MANDINGO: tested by our experts, it’s the maximum to practice seriously tricklining. No, it is not necessary to cut the end loop of webbing. To use two ratchets just insert all the webbing in the first ratchet and take it to the second ratchet’s slot. When you bring your Trickline to the second ratchet, insert only the first 20 cm of the webbing in the ratchet’s slot: you will save webbing thickness in the ratchet while tightening.
Instability is part of the game, especially at the beginning! To make progress, if you prefer, you can put some gym mattresses below the line. Expert tip If you are afraid of falling off your Trickline, you should learn the dismount trick, placing your hand on the ground in the swing low point (starting from the sitting position, the butt bounce).
