Dyneema rope
Dyneema is a truly amazing fiber! Its weight/strength ratio is unbeliveable, it has an excellent wear and tear resistance and almost zero elasticity.
We offer two material options: CLASSIC UHMPE and ULTIMATE DYNEEMA. Both are extremely light in weight, ULTIMATE version has the best performances on the market.
Keep in mind when choosing a Dyneema braid it is important to compare the product's weight per meter rather than comparing to nominal diameter which can vary significantly according to the manufacturer and way of measurment.
Best use for each diameter
With dyneema you can create light-weight elements such as SOFT SHACKLE, whoopie slings, grogs, BACKUP EXTENDER FOR SPLIT TECHNOLOGY and any kind of seamanship.

different diameter
I received the 6mm size I ordered and compared it to the 6mm ones I already have and noticed the difference.
The MBS specs are low compared to other vendors: 25kN for 6mm and 47kN for 8mm. Samson for example gives similar MBS ratings to 5mm and 6mm Amsteel ropes respectively.
It is as good as a 5mm SK78 is usually.
Works as expected
sk78 is slightly slippery, but with a few extra rounds of tape it works just fine!
