Our new invention, the CRICKET is a complete renewed technology by mixing a classic ratchet system with a pulley and linegrip system.
A perfectly easy way to rig and tension all by yourself any 20-25mm Longline, Highline or Slackline.
An quick and easy one-person Job
The CRICKET will sometimes be quicker than constantly unravelling your pulley system, this device and its installation is much easier to verify by less experienced users and is definitely effortless to be used by only one person.
Its initial invention came from one of our best freestyle highline Athletes, with the idea to create something for permanent training sessions, where most times we are alone and don't have time all day - Strong, quick and not too heavy, the perfect "one-man-job".
Repeatedly tensioning with a big pulley set-up can be tiring, here comes your solution, especially for permanent Freestyle lines and or beginner lines or where many changes of tension are a common demande.

Can I set up a 70 m Longline with the 85cm sling of my CRICKET system?
YES, our CRICKET allows you to rig all sorts of lines as long as you want. Indeed, its functionality of using an automatic ravelling process inside the main weblock, you can restart as many times as you want, as soon as you reach the end of your 85cm long webbing sling, which will get sucked into the ratchet.
An easy click to open the ratchet (no, it is not gonna jump as some may know from experience), a quick pull and the linegrip can be pushed out again, just like with any pulley system.

A tensioning device... to also de-tension with!
The CRICKET has this great functionality, that only in collaboration with A SIMPLE SOFT RELEASE, the de-tensioning process becomes highly easy and quick.
The SOFT RELEASE doesn't even have to be integrated into your set-up from the beginning (soft pointing), it can easily get attached to an extra spanset or sling just below the mainline, independently of your anchor set-up, by attaching it to the CRICKETS WEBLOCK.
Attach your linegrip, click 2-3 times with your handle, release the mainline from your weblock and then open and use your SOFT RELEASE just as usually.

In case your handle clicking becomes too hard to be engaged by yourself, because your line is already under very high tension, don't force the handle of the ratchet to click more by using any outer force. You have simply reached the maximum capacity of the ratchet. Any other usage could lead to damaging the whole device or even breaking it completly.
