LINE SCALE 3, digital dynamometer certified as PPE

LINE SCALE 3 is crafted from a single block of high-strength aeronautical aluminium (LY12CZ), giving it an MBS of an impressive 90kN.

Its structure therefore guarantees full safety, as there are no mechanical parts that can be damaged.

Furthermore, LINE SCALE 3 has been approved as PPE, so that even industrial professionals can use it on a daily basis.

A single solution for a product that is fast (1280Hz), safe (10kN DPI) and smart, as it stores data recorded during sessions.

Versatility

With an MBS of 90kN, LINE SCALE 3 is suitable as an anchorage/distribution point for highline or rope access.

The large, omni-directional, transverse load-proof eyelets can easily handle multiple connectors.

Configuration 

The displayed unit of measurement (kg, lb, kN) and auto-off time can be easily selected and saved according to user preference. 

In addition, LINE SCALE 3 offers customisation of the storage speed, which provides up to 50 hours of recording time.

Operating Modes

NET mode: always shows the actual load, regardless of any potentially set tare.

ZERO mode: shows the load value minus the tare weight.

High Tech Energy Saving

LINE SCALE 3 automatically switches off if no load change is recorded during the pre-set time interval.

For this reason, the dynamometer does NOT calibrate its sensors to 0 when it is switched on. Instead, it immediately shows the actual load (when in NET mode). 

This allows LINE SCALE 3 to be switched on only when required, thus saving an enormous amount of energy and making it last several months without having to recharge it.

In addition, a display power-off function has been implemented, which dims the OLED display but allows LINE SCALE to collect all data in the background.

Accuracy

The AD 24Bit pro with dual strain gauge configuration has a resolution of 1 kg with a measurement error of ±0.5% (within the 'sweet spot' area of 300 kg - 1500 kg / 3 kN - 15 kN, which is 10-50% of the maximum load). 

NB: below the 'sweet spot' area, the measurement error can be up to 2%.

WARNING!

Note that the permissible PPE working load is limited to 10kN (9x safety factor).

Although the LINE SCALE 3 has an absolute WLL/SWL of 30kN and an MBS of 90kN, it cannot be used beyond 10kN in any PPE scenario.
