Our WHITE line is THE slackline to start becoming more familiar with the slackline world. The most successful Spider slackline.
This webbing has a very special weaving, completely different from a tensioning strap or a rope. Its weave is specifically designed for the slackline use, in order to make it easier to learn the basic principles of balance and body control. The Spider White line has a special coating print, which guarantees maximum grip on the line in any situation.
Thanks to its features, the WHTIE LINE is designed to be "EASY", it is suitable for everyone: children, adults and even for post-injury rehabilitation. If you like playing sports while having fun, this is your slackline.
The easiest way to start is to mount the slackline between 2 trees and following the simple manual in the box or to watch the product video of Spider Slacklines. The WHITE LINE 15m Kit contains everything needed for assembly and and easy start.
Spider Slacklines cares about an environmentally friendly approach and recommends therefore, to always use the appropriate SLACKLINE TREE PROTECTION in order to avoid any damage to the bark of trees and to practice this sport in a sustainable and responsible way.
A BACKUP KIT is a safety rope, which allows you to secure the ratchets in case of accidental breaking of the line due to contact with sharp or abrasive edges. The backup kit is mandatory when you start to jump on the slackline with high tensions. It's a safety device.
In the TRAINING section of the Spider Slacklines website, you find all the possible solutions to anchor a slackline when there are no trees around.
To find advice and suggestions around the slackline world, find everything you need to know in our LEARN section of our website.
The best Slacklines to start with are the White Line 15 or a Training 18, which guarantee simplicity for walking, thanks to the low elasticity and the width of the line (50 mm). Obviously, once you have acquired the right confidence, you can move on to more demanding lines for longer walks or spectacular evolutions such as longlines of 25mm. If, on the other hand, you feel ready to do some jumps, we recommend starting with an “elastic” Pro 20 slackline or a Trick 25.
To practice slacklining, first you must have a suitable line.
Get a Spider Slacklines’ White Line 15! This line is ideal for those who have never practiced this discipline and with is regular elasticity will allow you take immediate feeling with this sport. Once you get the line, find two strong supports (e.g. two trees) and anchor your Slackline.
Expert tip: Remember, however, that even without trees you can use your Slackline. Now you know how to get started: read the questions and you'll find all the answers about the set up (see question n. 7).
If you already have a beginner line, get longer.
You can choose the Training Line, 18 m long and 50 mm wide. If you think that even in this way it is too easy considering your skills, opt for the 25-mm-wide Longline Kit, like the Fly 35 Line which extends up to 35 m and will enable you to use greater length.
Expert tip: A Longer Slackline gives more satisfaction, but it’s also more challenging. We remind you that the line can be adjusted at will.
Remember that anchoring to trees, poles and other fixed points, are subjected to a different strength depending on where Slackline run its strength. The higher you'll position the webbing, the stronger the force exerted on tree. The diameter of the support (e.g. the tree) must therefore be chosen considering these three factors: the length of the line, the height at which the same is located and the power depending on the weight and the movements of the slackliners. Minimum diameter is 30 cm.
Expert tip
Spider Slacklines suggests using eco-friendly tree protection to avoid excessive pressure on the tree and protect the bark. If you do not have trees with a diameter larger than 30 cm, you should set the line as close as possible to the base of the tree trunk. Then use the appropriate stands to lift the Slackline. In this way, it will reduce greatly the force applied on the tree.
How to start practicing Slackline: slacklines are not all the same. That’s why we offers a wide range of specific products for each category.
Best Slackline to start with are Spider White Line 15 or 18 Training, easy walking due to low elasticity and the width of the line (5 cm). Of course, once you get the right confidence, you can pass move to more challenging lines for long walks or for spectacular tricks. If you feel ready for the walk on the line and for some jumps, then you are ready to start using the "elastic" Slackline Pro 20 or Trick 25. These are undoubtedly more challenging, but fun is guaranteed!

Yes, there are differences between webbins.
In fact, these lines have different features for different users and needs. For example, the Spider Pro 20 and Trick 25 have a greater elasticity and therefore require a greater body control. In other words, this kind of line is more suitable for those who have a bit of experience. On the contrary, the White 15 and Training 18 give more confidence and have a lower difficulty: that’s why they are ideal especially for beginners.
Expert tip
When you choose your Slackline, consider the main use you will do.
Yes, the 25-mm (1 inch) Slackline is more challenging than the 50-mm (2 inches) one.
The first provides a greater contact surface, therefore it’s more suitable for a beginner. For long distances (more than 30 m), however, only the 25-mm lines are suitable for walking. This narrow webbing allows you to have a greater sensitivity. In fact, thanks to the reduced thickness (just 1 inch) the foot comes out slightly from the edges of the line, and force you to position better on it.
Expert tip
Before ordering the webbing, it’s necessary to consider the use and the need. A beginner who does not walk long distances, would walk better on a 50-mm (2 inches) line. On the contrary, the 25-mm (1 inch) line will be more suitable for an expert longliner.
Remember that anchoring to trees, poles and other fixed points, are subjected to a different strength depending on where Slackline run its strength. Sure: Slackline is made of high tenacity polyester and provides excellent resistance: up to 1,500 kg of working load! The resistance of the webbing is fundamental: we want to ensure the safety of our slackliners. In this way, we guarantee resistance even for the most extreme tricks and jumps on the line.

It doesn’t mean that your Slackline is broken or defective. When you get more familiar with the Slackline’s ratchet, you won’t have to think about the wrong wrapping anymore.
Expert tip
Check the 50-mm wide webbing, sewn on the ratchet bolt: it must be in the center position when tensioned. Make sure that the webbing is not displaced on one of the two sides, because it will tend to twist. Then check the long webbing, which is inserted into the ratchet roller slot: it must be absolutely cantered as well. After the first ratchet pulling, check again the alignment of both webbing on the ratchet. Make manually adjustments, moving the webbing right or left. If even after the re-alignment the webbing position is wrong, open the Slackline’s ratchet and start from beginning. You will soon get confident with this and won’t think about that anymore!
The ratchet can’t be broken just by hand: Spider Slacklines guarantees, in fact, a working load of 1,500 kg! In any case, there isn’t a right or wrong tension, but only the one that each slackliner prefers. Slackline’s world is full of exercises: this means that it requires commitment, effort and many attempts: different tensions will help you to find the best match for your workout.
Expert tip
If you are interested in a line without tension, the Rodeo Line is the answer! Set the Slackline’s ends at a height of two meters, at least (depending on to the length of the line), without tension: it will be very slack and will form a U shape. Try the balance exercises on it! The webbing is completely slack, free from any tension, like a hammock. Discover the thrill of walking a Rodeo!
Before you set up your Slackline, it is good to check if you must replace your webbing: you should consider the frequency of use. With regular use (once a week), the Slackline should be replaced after 1 year. The life of the webbing depends on several factors: the use (or misuse), the contact with water (especially if salted water), the exposure to the sun, the atmospheric agents, the temperature, the dust and the dirt. If your webbing has abrasions greater than 2 mm, you must replace it immediately. When you don’t use your Slackline, keep it clean, in a dark and dry place.
Expert tip
It’s fundamental, when you learn how to mount a slackline, to check the correct wrapping of the webbing into the ratchet roll. It is equally important that the line does not rub against trees, rocks, etc. Therefore, we recommend you to use always the tree protections.
Our Slacklines webbing are all washable. To clean your Slackline just soak in warm water with a bit of soap (a not aggressive one), leaving aside for about one hour; after that, you will need to rinse it well under running water. Expert tip Do not put it in the washing machine with the spinning: there’s the risk to ruin the rubber printed on the surface. Do not dry your Slackline in the sun.
Slacklining is a growing sport, especially in recent years. The advice is to look for your town’s Social network Slackline group and find the nearest Slackline’s community! There are slackliners of all kinds and experience: you will enjoy practicing in group!

Yes, you can fix the rope between two trees without affecting the anchor. The Slackline always applies a high pressure on the anchor point (trees or other fixed points used); we recommend, therefore, to always check on them before using the Slackline. If you have doubts about their strength, it is always better to fix the Slackline at their base (of a tree or pole) and lift the line with one of our frame stands: in this way, with a simple lever, you will reduce much of the force of the Slackline. Expert tip If you see a minimum risk in installing a webbing between two trees (or other support), it is always better to avoid that set up. In that case, you can anchor to the ground through our OUTDOOR KIT No-Trees, rather than risk incurring in damages or injuries.
The Slackline and Trickline BACKUP system it’s a static rope that ties the ratchet to anchor and doesn’t involve any tension. It is a professional security system: it eliminates any possibility of "eject" of the metal parts in case of accidental collapse of the system. Expert tip Always use the BACKUP Kit, to make secure your Slackline and Trickline during your tricklining.
No, the Slackline ratchet is not suitable for highlining. Use always the Highline equipment! In fact, the ratchet could suddenly open if used in highlining conditions, with very dangerous consequences, including death. Expert tip Use only gear that are specifically indicated for the use in Highline.
