VORTEX "One ring to rule them all"

VORTEX is the first clip and go connector of leash and highline. Simply thread the leash through our VORTEX, clip it into your already tensioned highline set-up and follow the manual to make the knot correctly and lock it safely.

Patented technology, the ring follows the highliner

VORTEX is a unique ring in the world, that allows you to install and remove the leash after rigging. You can use it on any already rigged highline and you can leave your highline installation even more safely over night, by removing leash and ring easily before leaving.

Inner diameter vs outer diameter

With the new era of SPLIT segment connected highlines, there has been a need for bigger and bigger inner diameter rings in order to pass through the SPLIT connections easily. The down side is that the bigger the ring's inner diameter the heavier, and this increases the risk during possible impacts, caused by a leashfall.

Our VORTEX has an inner diameter of 65 mm to keep weight the lowest possible and to still easily cross SPLIT segment s. It has a special geometry, completely different compared to any other classic rings: the leash rope is threaded all around the outer diameter of the ring, which has been tested over years and comes out, by the opinion our expert highline testers, to be a revolutionary sensation of walking without being followed. According to their feedback (5/5 stars ratings only), crossing the SPLIT connections works perfectly smooth and easy.

Reduce risks of injury

The very light weight of the VORTEX limits the risk of injury. The leash is covering for 3/4 the outside surface of the ring offering an additional protection against impacts.

While walking, VORTEX stays always in the same orientation, with its padded surface on the top, so already that is making it safer than a general, metal leash ring. Finally VORTEX surface avoids the harsh sliding against your heels while you are descending a steep highline.

Highlining dynamic movements - is it safe?

Yes. All testers confirm, using a VORTEX for their highline sessions is as safe as any other ring, if not even safer.
