Highline Configurator for your personalized set-up

The Highline Configurator is our new tool to guide you faster and easier on your way to your perfect, new highline webbing set-up.

• MAIN + BACKUP LINE  (always including sewn loops) + their CONNECTION are parts to choose in our configurator. 

According to type and length of your main webbing, we now have even the possibility to calculate for you the perfect length of your BACKUP.

How does the configurator work?

STEP 1

SELECT MODEL 

1st step in your highline set-up configuration, is to choose if you would like to use your 2 webbings FULLY REVERSIBLE or NON REVERSIBLE. 

FR: FULLY REVERSIBLE >

Main and Backup are the same length and for your highline set-up to work, you will need one or two ADDITIONAL EXTENDERS.

You will be able to reverse your set-up and  use both webbings as MAIN or BACKUP line.

NR: NON REVERSIBLE >

Your BACKUP will be longer than your MAIN line. Together, both lines work as a full highline set-up, without the need of extenders.

The extra amount of length on your BACKUP will depend on your choice of MAIN line webbing.

STEP 2

A) SELECT LINE LENGTH 

Choose the general SPLIT LENGTH you desire for your set-up. This will be the length of : 

For FR: your MAIN and BACKUP line 

For NR: your MAIN line *

*the BACKUP length will be a certain % longer - all depending on what kind of webbing you choose for your MAIN line. Find the list of calculated and determined % for each webbing just below. Our configurator will not be able to display the final, calculated length of your BACKUP, but you can do the calculations easily below and it will be marked on your webbing upon arrival.

B ) SELECT MAIN LINE 

In this step, you are now asked to choose your type of webbing for your MAIN line. Only excluded are webbings not dedicated to Highlining. 

You’ll find a choice of stretchy, heavy, thinner or lighter webbings - to figure out more about their specs, simply open a second window of our shop and search for each webbing page.

C) SELECT BACKUP LINE 

You are asked to choose the type of webbing you’d like for your BACKUP line. Only excluded are webbings not dedicated to Highlining. 

STEP 3

D ) SELECT CONNECTION BETWEEN MAIN & BACKUP -

Choose the sewings or connection between your MAIN and BACKUP line. 

• NONE: No connection at all. Both webbings come simply with their sewn endloops.
• TYPE X: One SEWN and FIXED connection between your MAIN and BACKUP line. 
• T-LOOP:  Both webbings will come with  a T-LOOP at their center, this allows you to connect both by using a safe connection with a quicklink.

Once added to you cart, to review your finished configured highline set-up, please open your shopping cart and click on “product customization”, all details of each step will be displayed.

Where is the stitched connection? 

In the middle* of you MAINLINE SPLIT, so either at 25m (middle of 50m SPLIT) or at 50m (middle of 100m SPLIT).

Our calculated and suggested % for additional BACKUP line lengths

As we have all learned not so long ago, depending on conditions, material and type of the MAIN webbing, the perfect adapted BACKUP length is often hard to find. 

Some calculations and experience have allowed us to create this collection of recommended BACKUP lengths; We are using those % to prepare for all NR Highline set-ups the according BACKUP line length.

• ABYSSES: 12%
• NYLOVE: 10,4%
• ZAO: 9%
• JUMBO: 8,4%
• JOKER: 7%
• PLASMA: 6,8%

• COSMIC: 6%
• SKYDIAMOND: 6%
• FLY: 5,5%
• EDGE: 5%
