Expansion bolt in stainless steel

The bolt of stainless steel is made for outdoor use, including humid environments.

  • Ø 8 mm: for main  highline anchor only on really compact and hard rocks (i.e. granite) in 100% shear force. Great for your climbing approach or to install security ropes, like for a viaferrata;
  • Ø 10 mm: For highlining and climbing on most of the rocks;
  • Ø 12 mm: For highlining and climbing on really smooth rocks or concrete. 

WARNING: In humid or even wet environements, do not mix, over a long period of time, aluminum or zinc coated steel gear with stainless steel gear. It can occure to see galvanic corosion that highly damages the connectors.

Stainless steel anchor bolt 

The stainless steel anchor bolt is a great choice to equip a climbing wall, especially on hard and compact rocks. 

For bolts, length is more important than the diameter, so even a Ø8 mm bolt has a WLL of 10 kN on good rock.
